- Total earned over billed hours. Fixed-price work inflates it; compare with the rate card.

About
I have been performing academic work in AI since the early 90' resulting in a Ph.D. at Iowa State University with my dissertation on Machine Learning topics (2007), and the founding and direction of the AI Research Lab in my hometown in Mendoza, Argentina; where I successfully guided 5 Ph.D. thesis and published several peer-reviewed papers in Applied AI and Machine Learning (mostly viticulture and medicine), and thought several Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning courses both in the undergraduate and graduate levels. For the last 3 years I have been shifting to a more entrepreneurial role, first co-founding a startup for computer vision for massive sensing of phenotypic features of intensive crops, first applied to viticulture. That experience was the platform for founding Suria, an AI Innovation Consultancy, were we put together all our skills from academia and entrepreneurship to help others in their AI/ML endeavors. The above experience faced me with several challenges that helped me acquire a vast and deep understanding and mastery of programming in general, as well as the theories, algorithms, methodologies and frameworks within the AI/ML universe of technologies. Also, on the business and managerial side, it helped learn and apply skills such as team formation and leadership; management of large, long-term, risky and uncertain projects; manage innovation in R&D departments; and a bit of business development.Read more

Climb this table, on purpose.
Upsight watches every new job in your categories, scores fit against your past wins, drafts the proposal in your voice and submits it from your agency login in minutes, then follows the reply all the way to the contract. The agencies at the top of this index bid early and bid well. That is the whole trick.
