How these are computed- Run-rate, measured
- pending
- Needs two observations at least 14 days apart. Our next read of this page turns this on. Nothing is extrapolated from a single contract.
- Lifetime pace
- $37.5K/yr estimate
- Lifetime earnings divided by years on Upwork. A floor on historical pace, not a forecast.
- Earnings per job
- $16.3K
- Average contract value to date.
- Recent earnings, per Upwork
- $549
- The "recent" figure Upwork attaches to the directory card. Upwork does not publish the window, so it is shown as its number, not ours.
- Realised hourly
- $44/hr
- Total earned over billed hours. Fixed-price work inflates it; compare with the rate card.

About
Scaling a complex SaaS requires not only fast features, but architectural discipline. Since 2013, Active Bridge has acted as an embedded senior Ruby on Rails team for technical founders and CTOs. We specialize in stabilizing backends and preparing platforms for scale, specifically products operating in regulated and data-sensitive industries such as FinTech, HealthTech, and InsurTech. Why Scaling SaaS Teams Partner With Us: ▫️90% Senior/Mid-Level Team: no heavy junior layers. You work directly with architects who understand implementation and security. ▫️Compliance-Ready Engineering: from HIPAA-compliant patient portals to PCI-aligned billing systems, we design security into the codebase from the start. ▫️CTO-Friendly Process: we thrive in Agile/TDD environments. We don’t just "take tickets"; we contribute to your technical roadmap. ▫️Deep Rails Focus: for over 10 years, Ruby on Rails has been our core backend framework. That depth allows us to build efficient, maintainable systems that support growth and pass audits when needed. What We Help With ▫️ Building and scaling SaaS platforms (Rails + React/React Native) ▫️Stabilizing and refactoring legacy systems ▫️Strengthening database performance and backend architecture ▫️Integrating senior engineers directly into your Slack/Jira from day one 📍10+ years in Rails | 100% Job Success | Long-term product partnershipsRead more
