How these are computed- Run-rate, measured
- pending
- Needs two observations at least 14 days apart. Our next read of this page turns this on. Nothing is extrapolated from a single contract.
- Lifetime pace
- $2.5K/yr estimate
- Lifetime earnings divided by years on Upwork. A floor on historical pace, not a forecast.
- Earnings per job
- $354
- Average contract value to date.
- Recent earnings, per Upwork
- $384
- The "recent" figure Upwork attaches to the directory card. Upwork does not publish the window, so it is shown as its number, not ours.
- Realised hourly
- $93/hr
- Total earned over billed hours. Fixed-price work inflates it; compare with the rate card.

About
AI by Design brings 40+ years of combined software-development experience to practical AI systems. Since returning, we have delivered 25+ projects in 20 weeks, as at 31 August 2026. Bring us a pain point, bottleneck, process or procedure. We map it, design the right solution and turn manual work into a system that gives your team time back. Whether the answer is GoHighLevel, AI automation, an AI-powered website or a tailored application, we build tools your business can own. Our co-founders bring complementary strengths. Antonia leads customer-journey design, GHL workflow, marketing automation and AI-assisted content; Trevor leads solution architecture, custom software, databases, APIs, AI agents and complex integrations. Together, we take the process from customer-facing message and workflow through to a dependable system behind it. Have a GoHighLevel project? We configure CRM and pipelines, workflow automation, email/SMS follow-up, bookings, forms, funnels, lead routing, AI-assisted responses, and the integrations that keep the customer journey moving. For qualifying implementation projects, we include three months of full GoHighLevel access at no extra cost—not a restricted demo—so your team can launch with a complete system. For lead-generation and email/SMS systems, we design consent-aware capture, segmentation, nurture sequences, campaign content, CRM handoff, human-review points and reporting. We have experience with campaign open rates up to 60–75% in appropriate contexts, not a promise: results depend on consent, list quality, sender reputation, configuration, segmentation, content and testing. We also build AI-powered websites, landing pages, lead-intake systems, custom AI applications, dashboards and MVPs. Recent work includes CRM/workflow systems, lead-generation/email automation, social-media content operations, AI call transcription/reporting, estimating and operational tools. We begin by understanding the process, people, current tools and required outcome. For a broad idea, a discovery workshop and delivery blueprint define a sensible first release. For a clear problem, we move directly to design, build, testing, documentation and handover. AI reduces repetitive effort; it does not replace accountability. Our AI governance and delivery practice include human oversight, documented decisions, appropriate data access, testing, version control and review before automation or content goes live. Working systems still need experienced judgement, clear ownership and operational accountability. Our delivery cycle is Discover, Design, Build, Deploy and Support. We agree the scope, test the working solution, document it, and provide handover so your team can run it with confidence. You own what we build. No black box. No forced subscription. No lock-in. Message us through Upwork with the process and outcome you want. We will tell you honestly whether it is a good fit and recommend the most practical next step.Read more
