How these are computed- Run-rate, measured
- pending
- Needs two observations at least 14 days apart. Our next read of this page turns this on. Nothing is extrapolated from a single contract.
- Lifetime pace
- $36.9K/yr estimate
- Lifetime earnings divided by years on Upwork. A floor on historical pace, not a forecast.
- Earnings per job
- $876
- Average contract value to date.
- Recent earnings, per Upwork
- $5.6K
- The "recent" figure Upwork attaches to the directory card, with 54 recent hours. Upwork does not publish the window, so it is shown as its number, not ours.
- Realised hourly
- $106/hr
- Total earned over billed hours. Fixed-price work inflates it; compare with the rate card.

About
ArcanEdge is a two-person, veteran-owned software business based in Texas. We build AI-powered applications and improve existing systems, working across frontends, backends and integrations. We start by understanding what the software needs to do, then choose an approach that fits the client's current stack, scope and budget. Our work includes implementation, testing, focused repairs and larger redesigns. Founder Bruce Meek handles AI-assisted development with Claude Code and Codex and built Dream Oracle as its sole engineer across web, iOS and Android. For Nordic Road, Bruce redesigned and implemented the existing backend in its existing Python/AWS stack, alongside a frontend developer. AWS was already set up. He implemented custom reporting standards in code, redesigned article ingestion, processing and scoring, and built a traceable ledger explaining scores and preserving source evidence. Bruce is currently the only active frontend and backend developer on United Tradesmen, alongside product and technology planning, testing and release preparation. On ClientIQ, he works with its development team on prompts, conversation design, requirements, workflows and technical planning. Our work includes Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, SQL, AWS, PostgreSQL/Supabase, React, Next.js, Node.js and Flutter, plus AI agents, RAG, APIs, MCP, Git/GitHub, CI/CD, Playwright E2E testing and technical documentation. Projects start at USD $1,000. Standard hourly rate: USD $100.Read more
