- The "recent" figure Upwork attaches to the directory card, with 5 recent hours. Upwork does not publish the window, so it is shown as its number, not ours.
- Realised hourly
- $19/hr
- Total earned over billed hours. Fixed-price work inflates it; compare with the rate card.

About
Whether you are looking to hire a Genealogist to research your family, have questions about where to begin your own research, would like an extra set of eyes to confirm you have your research correct, have questions and would like to pick our brain, have encountered that dreaded “brick wall” and need assistance in overcoming it, are looking for a missing someone important - you have most definitely arrived at the right place! We have been tracing family lineages for over 40 years now and have helped countless clients discover not only who their ancestors were, but also what their lives were like and what caused them to make the choices they made. We have also been the reason that so many family reunions are now complete, with all family members present, and we have brought missing family members safely home. What began as idle curiosity to see if great grandparents could be located on microfilm 45 years ago, turned into a full-blown addiction and life-long passion the moment they were found. Within 5 years, research was being performed for others, and a previously unknown talent for locating relatives, missing persons, lost family, friends, loves and war buddies was discovered. As the years passed, an investigative license was obtained and the same skillset used in genealogical searches was applied in successful searches for and reunions of birthparents and adoptees; missing persons who'd been abducted; runaways and also, still, genealogical research. We've helped hundreds of folks know their family; helped them to know their genetic origins, and to face this life bravely and chin up with pride. Because todays life as compared to the hardships and challenges of many past ancestral lives? For many, there is no comparison. We've reinforced the fact that in this modern and sometimes isolated day and age, that it does indeed take a village. To grow even a single tree. We've reunited living cousins with living cousins even across oceans. Helped folks all over Europe learn what happened to those family members who emigrated hundreds of years ago due to famine, poverty or war. We've reconnected family who were separated here in the States; reunited brothers, sisters, mothers, fathers, aunts, uncles and grandparents... We've saved lives by locating those who went missing not of their own choice and have performed research in order to resolve criminal cases. We've even stumbled upon a cold case while performing simple genealogical research and solved that case, decades after it was closed. We're also intent on helping others learn how to perform the same type of research and discovering their own ancestry, by sharing the vast amount of knowledge we have amassed over the years via online and phone consultations and mentoring. If you have questions, would like research performed, research advice, or someone found, you've most definitely landed at the right place. Because, as you can see, we are not your "typical" Genealogist.Read more
