How these are computed- Run-rate, measured
- pending
- Needs two observations at least 14 days apart. Our next read of this page turns this on. Nothing is extrapolated from a single contract.
- Lifetime pace
- $2.2K/yr estimate
- Lifetime earnings divided by years on Upwork. A floor on historical pace, not a forecast.
- Earnings per job
- $379
- Average contract value to date.
- Recent earnings, per Upwork
- $0
- The "recent" figure Upwork attaches to the directory card. Upwork does not publish the window, so it is shown as its number, not ours.
- Realised hourly
- $19/hr
- Total earned over billed hours. Fixed-price work inflates it; compare with the rate card.

About
New Egypt Consulting is one of the few social media & digital marketing agencies that highlight results and numbers, not just clients. For example, we increased Monginis e-commerce sales by 10X using only social media & we managed ad accounts that have had spent more than $500,000 combined. New Egypt Consulting was founded in May 2011 as a boutique social media and digital marketing agency based in Cairo, Egypt, while serving worldwide clients in the US, Europe, Gulf, etc. Our Upwork & LinkedIn profiles received tons of positive reviews & recommendations from clients in the US & UK. Some were surprised that our team members speak English almost like natives– thanks to their full-time UK/US based employers and/or English education at university & post-graduate studies). Some of our team members are certified by Google Dubai & YouTube and have passed Google AdWords exam. Some are accredited by Facebook for advertising on Facebook & Instagram. Some of our team members got professional journalism content writing training. Some have been online bloggers since 2010. In addition to social media & digital marketing (including SEO, Google Analytics, remarketing ads, content, etc.), we are experienced in managing websites using Shopify, PrestaShop, WordPress, etc. We manage our founder’s social media campaign running for the position of the head of the engineers’ syndicate (more than 500,000 members) in the 2026 elections. So far, his campaign’s Facebook page has reached more than 50,000 fans (more than the pages of the current and former heads combined). We also did PR work to get the campaign two mentions in AlMasry AlYoum daily newspaper (Aug 9th and 28th). We recently launched the Friends of Egypt, US & World online initiative, which praises Egypt and the United States while promoting global peace by raising awareness of terrorism fuelled by the Muslim Brotherhood terrorist group's version of Islam (their slogan since 1928, "Death is our most noble wish," contradicts Islam's prophet and holy book Quran, which both stated the exact opposite: Life is a human right, even for armies that actively fight Muslims). The initiative now has tens of thousands of YouTube subscribers.Read more
